FLEXIBLE CURRICULUM TO KEEP YOU ON TRACK
The Discovery Journal is designed to be flexible enough for any context, from school and church curriculums to personal study time. God’s Word speaks to all of us, regardless of age. Each age group studies the same topic but tailored specifically for the maturity level of beginners (ages 5 to 6), primary (ages 7 - 10), junior (ages 11 to 14), or senior students (ages 15 to 18).
The Discovery Journal is available with 2019 Summer Study registration. All competition level registration packages include a PDF version. Other registration packages include printed hard copies of the Discovery Journal as well as other Summer Study materials.
JOURNEY TOGETHER WITH A LOCAL HOST GROUP!
Participants tell us repeatedly that nothing is more rewarding than going through the Summer Study with like-minded friends and family. Participants have the option to register under a host group. Being a part of a host group gives participants the wonderful opportunity to connect with others in their local community who are doing the Summer Study and to participate in the group’s NBB Proclaim! Day. Hosts of these groups offer encouragement, answer questions and host the NBB Proclaim! Day. At the NBB Proclaim! Day, participants will have the opportunity to proclaim God’s Word through scripture recitations and be recognized for all their hard work during the Summer Study. If there is no host group in your area, grab a few friends and become a host!
NATIONAL BIBLE BEE PROCLAIM! DAY
National Bible Bee Proclaim! Day is the culmination of the Summer Study planned by local hosts or parents. Registered participants gather for a competition that proclaims God’s Word and for a celebration of all the accomplishments from the Summer Study.
YOU COULD GO ALL THE WAY TO THE NATIONAL BIBLE BEE COMPETITION!
When the Summer Study is finished, young people ages 7–18 can test to qualify for the National Bible Bee Competition. The Qualifying Test takes place online and is flexible enough to be taken at home or within a host group setting.
The National Bible Bee Competition (NBBC) hosts 360 of the top contestants from around the nation who compete for over $100,000 in prize money in a heart-grabbing competition. But beyond testing the contestants on Bible knowledge and memorization, the National Bible Bee Competition provides an opportunity to proclaim God’s Word and find fellowship and encouragement within the body of Christ.
THE VISION OF THE NATIONAL BIBLE BEE IS TO KNOW GOD'S WORD AND MAKE HIM KNOWN!
National Bible Bee was founded with the mission to engage young people in the memorization and study of God’s Word and provide opportunities to proclaim it through local, national and broadcast competitions.
